I used this kit side by side with StemCell Technologies Mouse CD4 negative selection kit. Biolegend's product returned similar cell numbers and purity and is MUCH cheaper. The protocol is slightly longer than StemCell Technolgies.
Cell Isolation
Mouse splenocytes
From mouse spleenocyte single cell suspension, add antibody cocktail and incubate for 15 minutes on ice. Then add beads for 15 minutes on ice. Resuspend to break up bead aggregates then incubate in magnet for 5 minutes. Pour off negatively selected cells.
Resuspend after bead incubation to break up bead aggregates.
Gave same cell return as comparable product with almost identical purity (CD3+;CD4+).

Beads form aggregates during 15 minute incubation on ice. Requires resuspension.
