To assist the detection of de novo expressed proteins, different tags could be used in the protein constructs that are transfected or infected into host cells. Expression of specifically tagged proteins is then verified by different methods, including western blotting and immunoprecipitation. Among such tags is a short sequence of hemagglutinin (HA), which is detected by specific anti-HA tag monoclonal antibodies. The goal of our experiment was to verify the presence of HA-tagged protein in transfected human tumor cells. This mouse monoclonal antibody was used to detect the HA-tagged CD44 expressed in CD44-negative human tumor cells.

This mouse monoclonal antibody is highly sensitive and reliably detects HA-tagged protein(s) in lysates of transfected cells. This antibody does not highlight any non-specific bands in the lysate(s) of vector control transfected cells.
The image demonstrates specific protein bands in the lysates of cells transfected with HA-vector (+). Negative control demonstrate no HA-related band(s) in the cells transfected with the empty vector (-).
Highly specific antibody to detect HA-tagged proteins in western blotting. The diluted antibody can be frozen and re-used many times.
None detected
This antibody is highly recommended to detect HA tagged proteins in western blotting.
