Labnet International, Inc.

Product Name:

Labnet Prism Microcentrifuge; 120 VAC/60 Hz

Catalog Number:

C2500

I work in a pulmonary research lab that does lots of RNA isolation for qPCR and sequencing. We use a spin column kit, so a reliable microcentrifuge is necessary. I chose this product because it was priced much lower than similar models from other suppliers.

Results Summary

This centrifuge has worked out pretty well for me and does the basic job of spinning down tubes. Unfortunately I have run into a problem with the lid sealing tightly multiple times. Even though I check the seal on the lid, occasionally it will come loose during the spin and send my tubes flying throughout the centrifuge. (I have enclosed a picture of the lid after this happened).
