Invitrogen Antibodies

Product Name:

KLRG1 Monoclonal Antibody (2F1), PE-Cyanine7

Catalog Number:

25-5893-82

We are an immunology lab studying CD8 T cell memory differentiation. KLRG1 is a hallmark marker to identify terminal effector T cells. We performed adoptive transfer in vivo experiments, and harvest spleens during the acute response of infection. I used this antibody in my T cell panel to identify memory precursors along with terminal effector T cells. I chose this product since it fit well in my 12 color panel. Invitrogen Antibodies was one of the few vendors offering this marker with this particular clone and color.

Results Summary

We harvested spleens at the acute stage of an immune response to analyze the CD8 T cell response. Gating on live activated CD8 T cells, we used KLRG1 and CD127 to identify terminal effector T cells versus memory precursors.
