This kit work based on the magnetism and preferential binding of the RNA of different length to the magnetic beads by altering the ethanol concentration. Approximately 7 microliters of the magnetic beads are reconstituted in 150 microliters of the binding buffer solution and different ethanol concentration. Using the DYNA MAG stand, the magnetic beads are attracted towards the magnetic stand. The beads are washed with wash buffer and then bound RNA can be eluted using RNase free water.
Accurate pipetting of the ethanol is very important for good yield.
Accurate size of small/long RNA / cDNA /final library can be obtained by following the instructions of the kit.
