The goal is to elucidate the function of our protein interest which is has a role in cytoplasm and nucleus. Under the pathological condition, this protein localizes to the nucleus and causing the disease. To rule out the nuclear -cytoplasmic localization we need to do nuclear cytoplasmic extraction experiment. In this experiment for nuclear localization, we need a proper control like lamin A when we conduct the immunoblot analysis. Lamin A doesn't come with cytoplasmic extraction but it will come in nuclear extraction.

We got very good Lamin A bands with nuclear extraction fraction. From this experiment, we concluded that our protein of interest is localizing to the nucleus and activating downstream oncogenes. Therefore, parthenogenesis activity increases.
