For routine molecular biology experiments and other protein analysis, we have used this microcentrifuge. This centrifuge achieved desired speed of almost 13000 RPM without any noise. Excellent acceleration and deceleration with minimum time lapse.

For all molecular biology work, we have gone on to the maximum speed of 12000 (15000x g) RPM and for other work, we even used 13000 RPM (17000 x g).
None but the rotor cap maybe could have been better.
We used this centrifuge for nearly 1 year and has run this instrument day night for centrifugation. We never encountered any type of problem with respect to speed, noise, or etc.
