Anti IkB-α Antibody

Catalog Number:

sc-371

IκBα (nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells inhibitor, alpha) is a cellular proteins that function to inhibit the NF-κB transcription factor. IκBα inhibits NF-κB by masking the nuclear localization signals (NLS) of NF-κB proteins and keeping them sequestered in an inactive state in the cytoplasm. It involved in regulation of transcriptional responses to NF-kappa-B, including cell adhesion, immune and proinflammatory responses, apoptosis, differentiation and growth. The present study aims to check the expression of IkB-α in HEK293 cells by Western Blot
