In our lab, we synthesize new contrast agents for cancer imaging. To do this, we must monitor the pH of reaction mixtures. This is especially true for labeling antibodies with dyes or radioisotopes. We chose this product because Mettler Toledo is a well-established company that provides excellent products.

Protocol Overview

The instrument is single to use. The user turns it on and calibrates it using the three solutions of known pH (4, 7, and 10). After the instrument has been calibrated, it is ready to use.

Make sure to calibrate the instrument before using it

The display will show the pH within one or two seconds after pressing the read button. The instrument is extremely user friendly.
