Product Name:

FITC anti-human CD235a (Glycophorin A) Antibody

Catalog Number:

349104

Cells yielded by enzymatic digestion synovial tissue were stained for CD235a to excluded erythrocytes from downstream analysis

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Human synovial cells

Primary Incubation

30 minute incubation at 4oC. Live/dead stain.

Blocking Agent

No specific blocking step. 2% FCS in staining buffer.

Secondary Incubation

30 minute incubation at 4oC. Antibody cocktail used at this point containing antibody at 5ug/ml.

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

Mo Flow Astrios EQ 488 excitation 540/40 bandpass filter for emission

Results Summary

Antibody worked well enough to identify a clear positive population. The intensity of the staining was not that bright but was still clear enough to define a CD235a positive population

Additional Notes

Summary

The Good

Antibody worked well an produced clear positive population

The Bad

Staining is not very bright

The Bottom Line

Antibody allows identification of the CD235a positive cells even if the staining is not the brightest
