Product Name:

Anti-HIF1 alpha

Catalog Number:

NB100-134

Our research lab is focused on understanding the role of oncogenes, such as EGFR, in the metabolism, signaling pathways, growth and metastasis of human cancers including prostate, breast, colon and lung. This antibody was used to detect HIF1a in PC3 cells through western blot analysis. This antibody was purchased from Novus biologicals and detected a band for HIF1a protein in western blot.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

PC3 cell lysates

Primary Incubation

1:2000, overnight at 4 C

Blocking Agent

5% milk

Secondary Incubation

1:3000, one hour at room temperature

ECL and film

Results Summary

30 ugs of protein samples were used for this western blot to detect HIF1a in PC3 cell lysates. I observed a very strong band using anti-HIF1a antibody around 100KD molecular weight.
