We performed protein expression analyses in human podocytes regarding the generation of different factors involved in apoptosis regulation, signaling, cell structure maintenance and cell viability. Specifically phospho-specific antibodies were used to analyse the signaling activity normalized againt total protein expression (see Akt, AMPK and mTOR). We performed Western blot analyses of CPXM2 protein expression in cell lysates of HEK293 cells using the anti CPXM2 antibody from Acris Antibodies GmbH

Various bands were detected after 5 min including a CPXM2-band at 86-90 kDa (see figure).

This antibody is not well suited for Western blot analyses of CPXM2 in HEK293 cells
