Product Name:

Phospho-PLCγ1

Catalog Number:

2821

Phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC) is a receptor of the tyrosine kinase family which is activated upon various stimuli like growth factors and hormones. Phosphorylation at Tyr783 is one of the characteristic features of the PLC. Once it gets activated and further catalyzes and hydrolysis the phosphatidylinositol 4,5-biphosphate to inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate and diacylglycerol it plays an important role in cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. Here we checked the effect of Phospho-PLCγ1 by a chemotactic agent.

Summary

The Good

There is no/less background, the antibody is very efficient, and the signal is very good.

The Bad

Its gives some non-specific bands.

The Bottom Line

This antibody is very efficient and the signal is very good. It is highly recommended for performing western blot.
