We are trying to look at the expression of MDR1 in different cell lines by FACS. This Ab works great, as it can be directly used to stain the tiny part of surface MDR1.
293T cells have base expression of hMDR1, which can be detected by hMDR1-PE antibody, especially when 293T cells are loaded with Rh123 substrates. hMDR1-transfected 293T cells have more expression of hMDR1.

It works great, however, it should be noted that when the cells were treated with Rh123 substrate, the Ab works better, as the treatment of Rh123 will open the MDR1's epitope which is recognized by this AB.
