Staining KIRs (Killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptors) is a tricky business! Some generic antibodies do not distinguish between distinct KIRs and hence it is important to find KIR-specific antibodies. BioLegend's FITC anti-human CD158e1 (KIR3DL1, NKB1) Antibody is a good example of a KIR-specific antibody.

Our data shows the human NK cell line (NK.92.26.5) stained with BioLegend's FITC anti-human CD158e1 (KIR3DL1, NKB1) Antibody (blue histogram) or with an isotype control (red histogram). As expected, these cells are positive for KIR3DL1.
Specificity
If you need a specific, easy to use anti-KIR3DL1 antibody, this is a good option.
