Product Name:

MRE11 Mouse anti-Human Monoclonal (aa182-583) (12D7) Antibody

Catalog Number:

LS-B1700-50

Human colon cancer cell line was stained with MRE11 at 1/2000 together with nuclear marker DAPI. The cells were PFA fixed, blocked in normal goat serum and then incubated with the antibody for 1 hour. An Alexa conjugated goat polyclonal antibody was used as the secondary antibody. The image was acquired by confocal microscopy.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Immunofluorescence

Sample

Human colon cancer cell line

Primary Incubation

1:2000 for 12hr at 4C

Blocking Agent

3% serum plus 0.3% Triton-X 100 in PBS

Secondary Incubation

Alexa Fluor 488 Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) 1:1000 for 1hr at 25C

Tertiary Incubation

Detection

Confocal imaging

Results Summary

Mre11 antibody counter-stained with nuclear marker DAPI. The nuclear part of the human colon cancer cell was labeled, which consistent with its role as a component of the MRN complex, acting in double-strand break (DSB) repair, DNA recombination, maintenance of telomere integrity and meiosis.
