Urine from 3 bladder cancer patients (P51-P53) treated with BCG was collected before the 6th instillation (week 6 of treatment) and cells were analysed by flow cytometry in parallel. 3 populations could be identified in the FSC/SSC plots corresponding to CD15+ cells, CD14+ cells and CD14+CD15+ cells. However, different proportions of these populations were detected in each patient. These three populations were positive for CD16 although with different intensities and had different levels of expression for HLA-DR and CD11b.
