Fig 3: Schematic of the regulatory mechanism of the nuclear translocation of Snail via HIV1 Tat-TIP30 (Tat-interacting protein 30) interaction. TIP30 competes with Snail for binding to importin-ß and inhibits the nuclear translocation of Snail. In addition, the binding of HIV1 Tat to TIP30 blocks the interaction between TIP30 and importin-ß, leading to both the increase in Snail nuclear translocation and the invasion and distant metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells
