RT-PCR Kits

Kits for RT-PCR, or reverse transcriptase PCR, are available to enable molecular experiments in gene expression. These convenient kits perform cDNA synthesis from RNA samples and follow up with PCR amplification. Included within the kit are the necessary components for the two subsequent reactions, including reverse transcriptase, polymerase, buffer, and dNTPs. Additional components such as RNase inhibitors and enhancers may also be included. “One-step” RT-PCR kits allow both cDNA synthesis and PCR to take place in a single tube, simplifying the process.
