Monoclonal Antibody Production Services

Listed below are services for the custom development, discovery, and production of monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies are distinct from polyclonals in that they are produced from one clonal population of antibody-producing cells. Traditionally, these cells have been hybridomas, created by the fusion of an antigen-specific plasma B cell with an immortalized myeloma cell. More recently, recombinant technology has also been used for the production of antibody fragments from non-hybridoma host cells, such as bacteria or cell lines. These cell culture-based methods enable monoclonal antibodies can be produced with consistent quality and at a larger scale.
