AireGard™ ES (Energy Saver) model NU-240 is a bench top style Horizontal Laminar Airflow Workstation (LAFW) designed to be used where clean airflow per ISO 14644-1 is required for the preparation of injectable drugs, IV solutions, tissue culture, optics, microelectronics, and more. Model NU-240 provides ISO Class 5 air over the work zone in a laminar horizontal out flow pattern over the work surface providing product protection. The clean bench should not be used for any work that involves biological agents assigned a level of Risk 1 through 4 as classified by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. A significant number of design innovations give the NuAire Laminar flow equipment superior performance qualities in airflow, lighting, noise levels, and vibration.
HEPEX™ Zero Leak Airflow System
NuAire’s unique HEPEX™ Zero Leak Airflow System surrounds all positive pressure plenums by a vacuum relative to the room. The HEPEX™ System provides consistent static pressure on the HEPA filter resulting in consistent airflow velocity over the entire work surface. The flexible design reduces any vibration and noise transfer from the motor blower.
