MethodThe sample material is homogenized in the Cellular Lysis Buffer in the presence of a strong anionic detergent, and Proteinase K. Following an RNase treatment, proteins are removed by selective precipitation and centrifugation. The purified DNA is subsequently recovered from solution by isopropanol precipitation. The typical A260/A280 ratio for isolated DNA samples is 1.7-1.9
