RAB5A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein RAB5A, member RAS oncogene family, which is encoded by the RAB5A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a Small GTPase which cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 215 residues, a mass of 23.7 kDa, and is a member of the Rab protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include ras-related protein Rab-5A, RAS-associated protein RAB5A, and RAB5.
The detection range for different RAB5A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 13.7 pg/mL and as high as 38 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
