SLC3A2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein solute carrier family 3 member 2, which is encoded by the SLC3A2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a component of several heterodimeric complexes involved in amino acid transport. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 630 residues, a mass of 68 kDa, and is a member of the SLC3A transporter protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and cell membrane and is found to be widely expressed in all tissues tested with highest levels detected in kidney, placenta and testis and weakest level in thymus. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include 4F2HC, 4T2HC, CD98, CD98HC, MDU1, NACAE, 4F2 cell-surface antigen heavy chain, and 4F2.
Some SLC3A2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
