CLPB ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ClpB family mitochondrial disaggregase, which is encoded by the CLPB gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a regulatory ATPase and participates in secretion/protein trafficking process. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 707 residues, a mass of 78.7 kDa, and is a member of the ClpA/ClpB protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. The CLPB gene has been associated with the disease, 3-methylglutaconic aciduria. Other alias names for this target include ClpB caseinolytic peptidase B homolog, ClpB homolog, mitochondrial AAA ATPase chaperonin, ankyrin-repeat containing bacterial clp fusion, and caseinolytic peptidase B protein homolog.
Some CLPB ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
