BUB1B ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BUB1 mitotic checkpoint serine/threonine kinase B, which is encoded by the BUB1B gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is an important component of the mitotic checkpoint. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1050 residues, a mass of 119.5 kDa, and is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in thymus followed by spleen. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, sumoylated, acetylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. The BUB1B gene has been associated with the disease, Premature chromatid separation trait. Other alias names for this target include BUBR1, Bub1A, MAD3L, MVA1, SSK1, hBUBR1, mitotic checkpoint serine/threonine-protein kinase BUB1 beta, and BUB1beta.
Some BUB1B ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
