These ZFM1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ZFM1 in biological samples. ZFM1 is an alias of the human SF1 gene, which encodes the protein, splicing factor 1. Notably, ZFM1 is known to play a role in Leydig cell differentiation and RNA splicing, among other functions. The SF1 protein is 639 amino acid residues in length and 68.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 7 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in the lung, ovary, adrenal gland, colon, kidney, muscle, pancreas, thyroid, placenta, brain, liver and heart. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include BBP, D11S636, and MBBP.
