These RASI-1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of RASI-1 in biological samples. RASI-1 is an alias of the human MMP19 gene, which encodes the protein, matrix metallopeptidase 19. Notably, RASI-1 is known to play a role in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other functions. The MMP19 protein is 508 amino acid residues in length and 57.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in mammary gland, placenta, lung, pancreas, ovary, small intestine, spleen, thymus, prostate, testis colon, heart and blood vessel walls. This protein is known to be glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CODA, MMP18, and RASI-1.
