P3H3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein prolyl 3-hydroxylase 3, which is encoded by the P3H3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be part of a complex composed of PLOD1, P3H3 and P3H4 that catalyzes hydroxylation of lysine residues in collagen alpha chains and is required for normal assembly and cross-linkling of collagen fibrils. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 736 residues, a mass of 81.8 kDa, and is a member of the Leprecan protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is notably expressed in fetal cartilage. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include HSU47926, LEPREL2, gene rich cluster, B, leprecan-like 2, procollagen-proline 3-dioxygenase, protein B, and GRCB.
Some P3H3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78.13 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
