These leB ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of leB in biological samples. leB is an alias of the human MUC5AC gene, which encodes the protein, mucin 5AC, oligomeric mucus/gel-forming. The MUC5AC protein is described to be 5654 amino acid residues in length and 585.6 kilodaltons in mass. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in surface mucosal cells of respiratory tract and stomach epithelia. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated, N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include MUC5 and TBM.
