These LB1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of LB1 in biological samples. LB1 is an alias of the human CKAP2 gene, which encodes the protein, cytoskeleton associated protein 2. Notably, LB1 is known to play a role in the apoptotic pathway and cell division, among other functions. The CKAP2 protein is 683 amino acid residues in length and 77 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in testis, thymus, and in tumor derived cell lines, while barely detectable in liver, prostate, and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include TMAP. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
