ERVFRD-1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein endogenous retrovirus group FRD member 1, envelope, which is encoded by the ERVFRD-1 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 538 residues, a mass of 59.5 kDa, and is a member of the Gamma type-C retroviral envelope protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is noted to be expressed at higher level in placenta. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include HERV-FRD provirus ancestral Env polyprotein, HERV-FRD_6p24.1 provirus ancestral Env polyprotein, endogenous retrovirus group FRD, member 1, envelope polyprotein, syncytin 2, and syncytin-2.
There are ERVFRD-1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.78 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
