The following Vasorin ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of vasorin in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the VASN gene. This protein is believed to act as an inhibitor of TGF-beta signaling. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 673 residues and a mass of 71.7 kDa. Its subcellular location is known to be in the membrane and is secreted. In addition, it is reported be expressed at highest levels in aorta, at intermediate levels in kidney and placenta and at lowest levels in the brain, heart, liver, lung and skeletal muscle. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally N-glycosylated. This protein may also be known as protein slit-like 2 and slit-like 2.
Some vasorin ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 23.4 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Use the search filters to narrow your search and click on the ELISA kits below for more detailed information, such as reactivity and assay sensitivity.
