These Suppressor of Ty 7-like ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring specific protein levels in biological samples. Suppressor of Ty 7-like is an alias of the human SUPT7L gene, which encodes the protein, SPT7 like, STAGA complex subunit gamma. Notably, Suppressor of Ty 7-like is known to play a role in the regulation of transcription, among other functions. The SUPT7L protein is 414 amino acid residues in length and 46.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed at high levels in adenocarcinomas and gliomas and low in esophageal cancers and malignant hematological disease. This protein is known to be sumoylated. Other names for this target antigen include SPT7L, STAF65, and STAF65(gamma).
