The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 278 residues, a mass of 31.2 kDa, and is a member of the Rab protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the brain, lung, heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and liver.
