These LPG ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of LPG in biological samples. LPG is an alias of the human APOE gene, which encodes the protein, apolipoprotein E. Notably, LPG is known to play a role in cholesterol metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The APOE protein is described to be 317 amino acid residues in length and 36.2 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the extracellular matrix and is secreted. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include AD2, ApoE4, and LDLCQ5.
There are LPG ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 23.438 ng/mL and as high as 1500 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
