These S1P5 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of S1P5 in biological samples. S1P5 is an alias of the human S1PR5 gene, which encodes the protein, sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 5. Notably, S1P5 is known to play a role in regulation of neuron differentiation, among other functions. The S1PR5 protein is 398 amino acid residues in length and 41.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be widely expressed in the brain, most prominently in the corpus callosum, which is predominantly white matter. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include EDG8 and Edg-8.
Some S1P5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78.13 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
