These Endostatin ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Endostatin in biological samples. Endostatin is an alias of the human COL18A1 gene, which encodes the protein, collagen type XVIII alpha 1 chain. Notably, Endostatin is known to play a role in organ morphogenesis and cell adhesion, among other functions. The COL18A1 protein is 1754 amino acid residues in length and 178.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in placenta. This protein is known to be cleaved and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include collagen alpha-1(XVIII) chain, antiangiogenic agent, and collagen, type XVIII, alpha 1.
Some Endostatin ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 10 pg/mL and as high as 900 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
