BEX2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein brain expressed X-linked 2, which is encoded by the BEX2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported regulator of mitochondrial apoptosis and G1 cell cycle in breast cancer. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 128 residues, a mass of 15.3 kDa, and is a member of the BEX protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in central nervous system, with high level in pituitary, cerebellum and temporal lobe. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include brain-expressed X-linked protein 2, hBex2, and protein BEX2.
The detection range for different BEX2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.313 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
