The LOX1 ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of LOX1 in various samples. LOX1 is an alternative name for the human OLR1 gene, which encodes the protein, oxidized low density lipoprotein receptor 1. It has been mentioned that LOX1 plays a role in inflammatory response pathways and proteolysis, among other functions. Structurally, the OLR1 protein is 273 amino acid residues in length and 31 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed at high level in endothelial cells and vascular-rich organs such as placenta, lung, liver and brain, aortic intima, bone marrow, spinal cord and substantia nigra. This protein is known to be N-glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include CLEC8A and CLEC8A.
The detection range for different LOX1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 2 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
