These I2PP2A ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of I2PP2A in biological samples. I2PP2A is an alias of the human SET gene, which encodes the protein, SET nuclear proto-oncogene. Notably, I2PP2A is known to play a role in DNA replication and the regulation of transcription, among other functions. The SET protein is 290 amino acid residues in length and 33.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be methylated, acetylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include 2PP2A and IGAAD.
