These CLS1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of CLS1 in biological samples. CLS1 is an alias of the human CRLS1 gene, which encodes the protein, cardiolipin synthase 1. The protein is known to catalyze the synthesis of cardiolipin (CL) (diphosphatidylglycerol) by specifically transferring a phosphatidyl group from CDP-diacylglycerol to phosphatidylglycerol (PG). The CRLS1 protein is 301 amino acid residues in length and 32.6 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in tissues such as heart, skeletal muscle and liver. Other names for this target antigen include C20orf155 and CLS.
The detection range for different CLS1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78.13 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
