TAFA5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein TAFA chemokine like family member 5, which is encoded by the TAFA5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as a chemokine-like protein by regulating cell proliferation and migration through activation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), such as S1PR2 and FPR2 (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 132 residues, a mass of 14.3 kDa, and is a member of the TAFA protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in the subcutaneous and perirenal adipose tissue. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include QLLK5208, UNQ5208, chemokine-like protein TAFA-5, TAFA protein 5, and FAM19A5.
Some TAFA5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 1.49 pg/mL and as high as 5000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
