These WIP ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of WIP in biological samples. WIP is an alias of the human WIPF1 gene, which encodes the protein, WAS/WASL interacting protein family member 1. Notably, WIP is known to play a role in the assembly of protein complexes, among other functions. The WIPF1 protein is 503 amino acid residues in length and 51.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 4 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, spleen, placenta, small intestine, colon and thymus. Other names for this target antigen include PRPL-2, WAS2, and WASPIP. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
