These armadillo ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of armadillo in biological samples. armadillo is an alias of the human CTNNB1 gene, which encodes the protein, catenin beta 1. Notably, armadillo is known to play a role in acinar cell differentiation and the apoptotic pathway, among other functions. The CTNNB1 protein is described to be 781 amino acid residues in length and 85.5 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in several hair follicle cell types: basal and peripheral matrix cells, and cells of the outer and inner root sheaths. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated, ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CTNNB, EVR7, and MRD19.
