These Barttin ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Barttin in biological samples. Barttin is an alias of the human BSND gene, which encodes the protein, barttin CLCNK type accessory subunit beta. The protein is known to function as a beta-subunit for CLCNKA and CLCNKB chloride channels. The BSND protein is described to be 320 amino acid residues in length and 35.2 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in kidney. This protein is known to be palmitoylated. Other names for this target antigen include BART and DFNB73.
There are Barttin ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
