The ASGPR1 ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of ASGPR1 in various samples. ASGPR1 is an alternative name for the human ASGR1 gene, which encodes the protein, asialoglycoprotein receptor 1. The target protein is known to mediate the endocytosis of plasma glycoproteins to which the terminal sialic acid residue on their complex carbohydrate moieties has been removed. Structurally, the ASGR1 protein is 291 amino acid residues in length and 33.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be preferentially expressed in hepatic parenchymal cells. This protein is known to be phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include ASGPR and ASGPR.
The detection range for different ASGPR1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 1.25 pg/mL and as high as 60 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
