B4GALNT4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein beta-1,4-N-acetyl-galactosaminyltransferase 4, which is encoded by the B4GALNT4 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1039 residues, a mass of 116.5 kDa, and is a member of the Chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is reported to be highly expressed in ovary, adult and fetal brain. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminyl-glycoprotein 4-beta-N- acetylgalactosaminyltransferase, NGalNAc-T1, beta-1,4-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase IV, and N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminyl-glycoprotein 4-beta-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1.
The detection range for different B4galnt4 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
