LAGE3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein L antigen family member 3, which is encoded by the LAGE3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the EKC/KEOPS complex that is required for the formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine at position 37 (t(6)A37) in tRNAs that read codons beginning with adenine. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 143 residues, a mass of 14.8 kDa, and is a member of the CTAG/PCC1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The LAGE3 gene has been associated with the disease, Galloway-Mowat syndrome. Other alias names for this target include DXS9879E, DXS9951E, ESO3, GAMOS2, ITBA2, Pcc1, EKC/KEOPS complex subunit LAGE3, and CVG5.
