BAALC ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BAALC binder of MAP3K1 and KLF4, which is encoded by the BAALC gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to play a synaptic role at the postsynaptic lipid rafts possibly through interaction with CAMK2A. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 145 residues and a mass of 15.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in the neuroectoderm-derived tissues. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally palmitoylated and myristoylated. Other alias names for this target include BAALC, MAP3K1 and KLF4 binding, BAALC, MEKK1 and KLF4 binding, brain and acute leukemia, cytoplasmic, and brain and acute leukemia cytoplasmic protein.
Some BAALC ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
